ANMF NSW Branch Councillor since 2006
NSWNMA Councillor since 2007, Guardian since August 2008
National Enrolled Nurse Association, Executive Committee member since 2016
NSWNMA Branch Delegate
I’m an experienced Enrolled Nurse working in an acute Medical Unit, with previous experience in inpatient wards, ED and Operating Theatres.
I have always been an active and passionate NSWNMA member with 24 years’ experience as a branch delegate, holding different positions such as president and secretary.
Previous positions held include the NSWNMA Professional Issues Committee, Executive member of National Enrolled Nurse Association and three PHS Log of Claims Committees. I am always committed to any position I hold. I actively listen to nurses and midwives, this gives me in-depth knowledge and understanding of issues faced by both individuals and our workforce entirety.
I seek re-election to the ANMF Branch Council to fight for a future with better working conditions and pay for all nurses and midwives. I will fight to retain management positions in all health facilities and resist the erosion of nursing and midwifery positions. Most importantly, for ratios on every ward on every shift - city and country.
For Unity, Power, Progress vote for the Candish / Whaites Team.
