  • ANMF NSW Branch Councillor since 2014

  • NSWNMA Councillor since 2014

  • Balranald Health Service NSWNMA Branch

I am standing for re-election as a Branch Councillor on the ANMF NSW Branch because I am committed to providing safe patient care and improved workloads for all nurses and midwives.  I believe it is essential to join together and have a collective voice on current and future issues.

I have campaigned for improved nurse/patient ratios and for safe patient care in all hospitals through my role as a Branch Councillor and local NSWNMA branch delegate.  Previously working in one of NSW’s largest hospitals, and now in a rural and remote community, I am dedicated to ensuring that patient safety is a high priority in all areas of NSW. Your postcode should not determine the level of healthcare you receive. We know that patient outcomes are improved by more nurses and midwives and I will continue to push that message.

I want to continue to represent nurses and midwives to ensure that we all have a safe place to work.  I will strive for affordable healthcare that is available to everyone.
