ANMF NSW Branch Councillor since 2016
NSWNMA Councillor since 2015
Long Jetty Continuing Care NSWNMA branch Delegate
I’ve been a nurse for 44yrs, for the last 35yrs I’ve worked in a sub-acute facility on the Central Coast. We are now fighting to save our beautiful hospital from permanent closure.
I’ve been a NSWNMA branch delegate since assisting the formation over 24yrs ago. proudly representing and supporting our members.
As an activist since the 2007 “Your Rights @ Work” campaign, I’ve been passionate about safe patient care and the right to access quality healthcare. I have been actively involved in the Aged Care campaign, rejoicing in our win.
I will continue to fight for the introduction of mandated nurse to patient ratios in our Public Health System, a system that has been decimated by years of neglect, made worse by the Covid epidemic. I will continue to demand Respect and Recognition of Nurses and Midwives and adherence and improvements to our pay and conditions.
It's imperative that we have experienced and united leadership to continue to advocate for our patients, nurses and midwives in all sectors. That’s why I seek your support in standing with the Candish/Whaites leadership team.
