  • Enrolled Nurse

  • Gosford Hospital

  • NSWNMA Branch Delegate and President

I’ve worked as an Enrolled Nurse in acute surgical wards for 15 years on the NSW Central Coast.

During this time, I’ve been actively involved in our NSWNMA Branch as Secretary, President, and Delegate, and have had the pleasure of serving as a NSWNMA Councillor for the last four years. I’ve promoted the benefits of union membership and helped members get assistance.

It’s my passion, professionally and personally, to strengthen, protect, and improve our profession. I’ve contributed to state-wide campaigns to fight against privatisation, the degradation of working conditions, and cuts to pay, including penalty rates and wage freezes, before and during the pandemic.

Iseek election to the ANMF NSW Branch and NSWNMA Councils so I can continue to support these campaigns and ensure every nurse is engaged and heard. Through my advocacy, I will continue to back safer staff ratios and strive for realistic and durable workplaces for all nurses.

I’ll also continue to defend the voice of my colleagues and community to achieve positive progress for our health care system. I believe change comes from power within the masses and holding those responsible to account.
