I have been a union member all of my years in nursing. Currently working in the private sector hospital in the home and public sector Covid-19 clinic. I am at the coalface of the problems faced every day by working nurses in the public and private sectors. I love nursing, it’s a career and profession worth fighting for.
1 am an active member having campaigned for the maintenance and improvement of public hospital services.
As a Branch Councillor, I will strive to constantly improve nurses and midwives’ conditions, improve your job and make it more satisfying. My experience on Council over the years will help ensure continued good governance and financial management of your Association. I am acutely aware nurses and midwives are doing it tough and I can help make a difference.
The NSWNMA / ANMF NSW Branch plays an important role in state and national campaigns protecting nurses and midwives’ rights at work. I am proud to be part of the Candish / Whaites team.
