I’ve been a passionate member activist since 1986. My current working experience is diverse, and includes the acute, community health and residential aged care settings. I am therefore cognisant of the many issues that confront us as nurses and midwives in rural settings and I have the ability to extrapolate this knowledge to metropolitan areas.
I believe that nurses and midwives in all sectors require continued intelligent, politically savvy representation as we fight for safe staffing ratios and improved pay and conditions across NSW. My clinical and political knowledge, and industrial experience in both urban and rural areas exemplifies my strength, commitment and knowledge to provide transparent, informed advocacy for nurses and midwives.
I will provide the dedicated, proactive support we all need into the future, as we deserve cohesive, courageous industrial leadership. I am standing for re-election as an NSWNMA and ANMF Branch Councillor.
