Diane Lang
RN, South East Regional Hospital
NSWNMA Branch Delegate since 2011
I currently work on Surgical ward in Bega. Workers’ rights are integral to my philosophy, I’m passionate and I battle to protect those rights by representing/supporting members as a hospital delegate.
I’m a current councillor of the NSWNMA/ANMF Council. Participating in decisions that will affect our members, I always ensure the wide diversity of members are fairly represented in our decisions.
In a previous life I was an AIN in aged care, also branch delegate. I represented aged care members and aged care is still a passion; I continue to fight for safe quality care in aged care and will make sure the Albanese government fulfills the introduction of national safe staffing laws and mandated 24/7 RN.
The current failure of the State government in our public hospitals, mental health, community health is appalling. I have been fighting and will continue to fight to expand ratios shift by shift, in every post code, and every discipline.
It is vital that we have an experienced, united leadership to continue to advocate for our patients, nurses, and midwives in all sectors. That is why I seek your support and vote For Unity, Power, Progress vote for the Candish/Whaites Team.
